This answer depends on the CBD Gummies’ strength, but generally, you can take 1-2 CBD Gummies every 4-6 hours. If you find you need more, increase your dose by one gummy every 4-6 hours as needed until you reach your optimal dose. Never exceed more than 6 CBD Gummies at a time.

A good rule to follow when determining an optimal CBD dose is to take anywhere from 1-6mg for every 10 pounds of body weight based upon the consumer’s needs. For example, a great starting dose for someone who weighs 150lbs would be somewhere between 15-25mg, and a 200lbs patient would range from 20-33mg.

The Farm Bill, or Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, legalized hemp. Here’s the relevant passage:

SEC. 297A. DEFINITIONS.

(1) HEMP.—The term ‘hemp’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.

SEC. 12619. CONFORMING CHANGES TO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Section 102(16) of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802(16)) is amended—

(1) by striking ‘‘(16) The’’ and inserting ‘‘(16)(A) Subject to subparagraph (B), the’’; and

(2) by striking ‘‘Such term does not include the’’ and inserting the following:

‘‘(B) The term ‘marihuana does not include—

‘‘(i) hemp, as defined in section 297A of the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946; or

‘‘(ii) the’’. (b) TETRAHYDROCANNABINOL.—Schedule I, as set forth in section 202(c) of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 812(c)), is amended in subsection

(c)(17) by inserting after ‘‘Tetrahydrocannabinols’’ the following: ‘‘, except for tetrahydrocannabinols in hemp (as defined under section 297A of the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946)’’.

Like our CBD products, Delta-8 THC can last for up to a year and beyond and still retain its full potency.

Right now, there is not much data, nor are there many studies as to the potential or possibilities of Delta-8 THC. We know it is safe, and we have many reports on its psychotropic properties. However, very few clinical trials or peer-reviewed studies have yet to be completed. However, as the product becomes more popular, more research will occur.

There have been very few studies on Delta-8 THC metabolites. In fact, the only one we know of was performed on mice. The cannabinoid is believed to have similar metabolites to Delta-8 except for the double bond, which is changed when applicable. Many believe the metabolites of Delta-8 THC are more potent than Delta-9.

There have been no known studies documenting tolerance to the cannabinoid Delta-8 THC. However, various user reports show that it is much the same as its cousin Delta-9 THC. In other words, tolerance can build from the overuse of the product. As with anything, moderation is always best. We also recommend small or brief breaks from the product to keep your tolerance in check.

Delta-8 effects genuinely depend on the individual and the product used (vape, tincture, edible, etc.). In general, vapes and oils can last anywhere from 1-5 hours, while edibles, which take a little longer to come on full, can last up to 12 hours.

Most user reports state that Delta-8 THC begins working with a bit of a delayed effect, especially as compared to Delta-9 THC. Users report that vapes take about 20 minutes, oils and tinctures a bit longer, and edibles anywhere from 1 – 4 hours.
